Building the BITX40 with 2.8 TFT – The parts needed

This post describes shortly how I’ve built the BITX40 with a 2.8 TFT color screen. If you’ve got any questions or remarks, please leave a comment.

THE HARDWARE:

Arduino Mega 2560 (from Italy)

2.8 inch TFT screen (from China)

BITX40 v3 (from India)

Adafruit SI5351 board (from Germany)

Rotary Encoder (from Holland)

10k Resistors (from China)

Breadbord (from China)

Wires lots of wires (from China)

Push buttons (from China)

The screen can be ordered here, i’ve got exactly the same, it’s only about 10 dollar.

THE SOFTWARE:

Arduino v 1.6.14 IDE
Library MCUFriend_kbv
Library Rotary
Library Etherkit SI5351
